Setting Up Your Account at ISGS.COM

Two ways to OPEN AN ACCOUNT with us for purchase of your stained glass supplies:

1) ONLINE>: Use our Shopping Cart, accessed by clicking the "PLACE ORDER" link at left, and just place your order.  When you "Check Out" using those SECURE SSL pages, you'll fill in your account information with your first order and receive your Account Number (Customer ID) while online.  THIS IS THE EASIEST AND FASTEST WAY!

Thereafter, you'll need only your Customer ID / Password for future orders, along with the credit card you want to use for each subsequent order.

2) MAIL: This method is for those who feel uncomfortable about submitting credit cards on the web.  It allows you to place your credit card on file with us so you won't have to enter your credit card while online.  Fill out and sign an Account SetUp Form and mail it to our offices at 1153 Yale Ave, Modesto CA 95350.  To get an Account SetUp Form, right-click link here------>  AccSetUp.pdf    Then when off line, open the PDF file using Acrobat Reader (v3.0 or newer) and fill in the information directly while inside Acrobat Reader.  Then, just print to your printer, sign, and mail to us.

When we process your mailed Account SetUp Form, we will e-mail your Account Number back to you within 36 hours of its receipt along with an attached security-protected PDF file showing your account information.  For your protection, you will need to enter the password you submitted to us to open this Account Information PDF Confirmation, so be sure to write down the password you chose.

From then on, all you will need on each web order is just your Customer ID / Password and when on the Order Summary page, you'll enter just "1111" as your credit card, plus your actual expiration date and name on card.  Your order will automatically be charged to the credit card you listed on the mailed form.

That's it!  Both methods provide complete safety for your account information.  If you forget your Customer ID or Password, you can click a link on the Customer Information page that will e-mail these to you.

 Frequently Asked Questions about Your Account Information

What if I move or change my e-mail address?

You can change any of the information on file simply by updating your Customer Information when you place an Online Order and "Check Out".  Always be sure that the information for you is correct since that is where your order will be shipped.

Updating your account information without placing an order.  HERE'S HOW:
When you enter our Online Catalog, click the "Update My Customer Account Information" link in the left menu.  Enter your CustomerID / Password and click Continue.  Make any needed changes then click the UPDATE button.  Your account information on file has been updated and will be applied to any orders not yet captured for processing.  (We capture orders Mondays & Thursdays at 11:00 AM Eastern Time Zone, 8:00 AM Pacific.)

Should I send changes to my account by e-mail?

No.  For your security, never send credit card or password information by e-mail. Instead, enter your changes in the Customer Information page when you "Check Out" for an order placed online, -OR- use the "Update My Customer Account Information" link.  Those pages are securely served using SSL encryption for complete web safety.

I have no e-mail address.  Can I still order from I.S.G.S?

Yes.  Many customers who do not have their own computer connected online have made use of ones at libraries that have an internet connection
*.  If you have no e-mail address, just enter "NONE" in the e-mail address field.  Keep in mind that you will not receive an Order Confirmation, nor the Shipment Confirmation and PDF Invoice.  And, if your credit card pre-authorization is declined for any reason, you will not be advised that the order was purged.  As our name implies, we have all our systems automated for communications via the internet, and do no mailing of invoices (hard copy.)  Consider asking a friend if it would be OK to use their e-mail address to receive your confirmations (your credit card information is NOT on any of these confirmations).  Also, many domains offer free e-mail accounts (,
*A note about security:  If you use a public computer to place orders, when finished be sure to clear the browser's cache files so subsequent users can not gain access to any web pages that contained your personal information, including credit card data.  "Cache" files essentially are copies of web pages visited and are saved on the local computer to speed access to that page when you click the browser's Back button.  Click the "Help Placing Orders" link on the left menu for instructions on how to clear (i.e. delete) browser cache files.

How can I add my e-mail address to Monthly Mailing List of Current Specials?

If you want to add your name to this monthly e-mailing of stained glass specials, just follow the procedure "
Updating your account information without placing an order" described above to access your online Customer Information.  After entering your CustomerID / Password on the Customer Information page, click the Continue button at page bottom.  Then in the middle of the Confirmation page, click the left button to get monthly e-mail about our Specials.  Then click Update button at bottom of page.

Can I have more than one credit card on file?

If you place orders via our online Shopping Cart, you just enter the credit card you want to use for EACH purchase.  We do not store your credit card information in our online Customer Information file.

What if I have no credit card or checking account?

Our system is set up to only process credit cards and/or gift certificates. However, there is a way to allow you to place orders online in our shopping cart:  You would have to purchase a Gift Certificate for yourself, purchasing it by mailing us a check or money order for the funds.  We then will e-mail you the gift certificate 2 weeks after receipt of funds (when the check or money order has successfully cleared through the banking system.)  When you receive the Gift Certificate, you can use its funds for purchases.  Be aware that you must have sufficient funds left on a Gift Certifcate for each purchase, including any taxes, boxing charges, and shipping costs -- otherwise the order will be cancelled since any uncovered costs are normally covered by entering also a credit card.  Also, there is no way for us to refund any residual funds left after purchases.  We can only transfer those unused funds from an exhausted Gift Certificate to a new Gift Certificate.  But, if you are willing to continually purchase new Gift Certificates for future purchases, this system may work for you.  Mail your check or money order, in denominations of our normal Gift Certificates -- see Section I of online catalog, to our offices at: I.S.G.S., 1153 Yale Ave, Modesto CA 95350.
